Reconciliation

It’s time to go beyond the acknowledgement of country, and take real action in our communities to demonstrate that black lives matter.

Reconciliation is a key priority for the North East Neighbourhood House Network in 2021, and we will be working to upskill ourselves and our members by:

  • Hosting Cultural Awareness Training

  • Assisting our members to take the journey of creating and implementing a meaningful Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

  • Developing online training and resources to assist our members and their communities to navigate the RAP process

 Reconciliation Action Group

This group is a community of practice for people who are working on Reconciliation Action Plans, improving the cultural safety of their neighbourhood house and working with Aboriginal people and organisations in their area.
